Poor benchmark performance S21 Ultra

I recently received my S21 Ultra model number SM-G998U (T-Mobile 512 GB). 

Upon doing benchmarks in Geekbench 5 and 3dMark. I noticed my scores are far below average for this device (bottom 5% according to 3DMark). I ensured "enhanced processing" is enabled and no power saving features are turned on. 

Here is what I am getting after ensuring the phone is cool to prevent throttling. Tests were done plugged in after a fresh restart. Screen was in 1080 default result with adaptive refresh rate turned on.

Multi core: 2932

Wild life unlimited. 

Anyone else getting similar results? All the YouTube reviews I see have way higher scores for this phone. Did TMobile throttle the device or might mine be defective?

Crazy. tried many times under different scenarios. near same results each time.

It could certainly be a result of what you have for apps running,.  Here's my Ultra. FHD+ Adaptive refresh.  It's too bad you cant run this in safe mode.

got some much higher scores disabling mobile data and staying on wifi. I wonder how much of a tax 5g connections put on the processor
