Read reciepts/reports and video change

I just had to replace my s21 phone due to a screen issue. When I updated the new phone, it will no longer display read reciepts/reports (RCS) and only allows Google video chat instead of duo. If I try to change the settings to display when read, I recieve a message when it's delivered rather than in the message thread to the person. This is a very frustrating change and hope that there is a way to fix or I might actually make the change to iphone.

First the easy one. Google Duo is now Google Meet (Google Video Call). You may still be able to find Duo on one of the apk sites.

Which message app are you using? I've been using Samsung Messages for 2 years on the S21 and the Delivery has always been a notification and not in line. Perhaps you were using a different message app?

As far as RCS, are you using the same carrier and phone type (locked vs unlocked)?

These are messages to the same person with the same carrier and the only thing that changed was my phone
