Galaxy S21I'm using UI 8.0, and since a lot of months, ghe reminder widget doesn't show reminder colors like it used to doNow all the circles before the content are grey, regardless of category color. In addition, when I turn on the phone, I need to click on it in order for it to show reminders, otherwise it will remain blank. Don't know if this last issue is related or not.

Galaxy S21Thank you for reaching out. I can certainly understand your concern with the reminder widgets no longer showing the colors correctly in the circles after the One UI 8 update. I would be happy to look into this further for you.
What type of device are you using?
Are you using the Google Reminders app or another reminder app on your device?

Galaxy S21I have a Samsung S21FE. I'm using the widget I can choose by pressing an arbitrary point of the widget page. I didn't install any other reminder app on my phone: it's the default one, so I assume it is the Google one

Galaxy S21Hello @Elil 50, Thank you for reaching out to Community with the model. I have
1. You would want to check Color Palette Go to Settings > Wallpaper and style > Color palette. Try changing the palette to a more vibrant one, as this affects app theme colors.
2. Try using the Calendar Widget Instead of the standalone Reminder widget, use the Calendar widget to display reminders; you can change the colors of different categories within the Calendar app settings.
3. Update the apps check the Galaxy Store to ensure the Reminder and Calendar apps are updated to the latest version.
4. Accessibility Settings: Ensure you do not have color adjustments set to grayscale or high contrast enabled, as this can make widgets appear black and white.
Hopefully these steps will assist you in getting the issue resolved. I have you have a great day!

Galaxy S21I want reminders that are not associated with the calendar, because that's the main point of using reminders instead of calendar.
That's not an issue of the color palette, because it all changed when I made the update, which was like half a year ago and never got fixed. Actually, I use calendar reminders too, and colors work there, so it's not an issue of the color palette.
Everything is up to date, and that's probably the issue. Stuff works until devs makes an update and users download it because there is not a detailed changelog and not a single dev actually uses what they are working on. In addition, there is not a single way to use a previous version, so you are stuck with the buggy one.
Can you fix reminders, or do I need to download a third party app and to migrate everything there, in order to have a simple list of strings with a colored circle on the left?

Galaxy S21The biggest issue is that each time I turn my phone on, the widget doesn't show anything. I need to click on it and than go back. I turn off my phone each time I go to sleep, so I basically have to click on the reminder widget each day in order for it to show the content. I tried with Google tasks, but the widget isn't able to show a transparent background for whatever reason, and any other third party app lacks the widget. Is there any way for someone to care about solving these bugs?
