Is there a way to see the charging status?

Follow the mentioned steps.

First, hold your S pen over your phone’s screen to bring the Air Command icon.
Now, you will see the battery level on the upper side of the screen.

You can also check the battery level through settings.

Hit Settings from the Air Command menu.
Now, select S Pen Remote or Air Actions.
Now, you will see the battery level on your phone’s screen.
