S21+5g Screen ratio

Updated to OneUi 5 and now my screen ratio is all jacked. Only select apps run full screen as before, and everything else has "letterbox bars" running on each side of screen.

Try checking your resolution or restart your phone and possibly remove the cache partition. If that doesn't work, which I also don't believe will maybe check if you changed something in dev options if you have it enabled. If nothing does work just contact customer support.

Hmmm. An easy first possible fix would be


Reboot to the Maintenance (Recovery) screen

Select to Clear Cache Partition

Next, select the Repair Apps option

... the phone will automagically restart... give it 2-3 minutes to finish up
