A) Previously, when I turned on my S21 cell phone, you can see the date and time with am/pm. After the latest software update on 5/6/2025, only the hour/min without am/pm appear. If I change the clock lock screen style or wallpaper page to show am/pm, I can't save the changes because the Done button remains disabled. Technical support also could not fix the problem. This a software update issue that needs to be fixed. Samsung needs to fix this. B) Now, when I get to the login page to open the phone, background shading has changed so the left side is darker than the right side, making it hard to read the password characters. Why did Samsung not notice that? We need a software update fast so that:
a) when you turn on the phone, the time of day clearly shows AM/PM. Also fix the problem where the style change Done button is enabled after we make a change to the lock screen style and wallpaper page
b) the login page should have a light background so we can see the password characters if we needed to
Yes, and my weather on the home screen with the time is way smaller with no way to make it larger. I've looked everywhere for a setting and cant' find one. I like to be able to just glance at my phone to see the time and temp, but now it's so small I can barely see it unless I pick up my phone and bring it more toward my face.
If you have two weather tiles for locations in different timezones, you also can't tell whether the timezone halfway across the world is AM or PM. I know I can probably guess but that should be a user decision and not some feature team at Samsung deciding for me. Removing AM/PM is completely unnecessary and should be fully reversible in settings which it is not. Double negative.
