S21 Bricked??

My little brother went to do the software update on his S21 and this popped up shortly after. Holding the vol. down and side key only restarts for a moment and then this screen pops back up. It's been like this for almost 24 hours. No buttons were pressed to get it to this point. Update was downloaded, update was selected to install then it defaulted to this screen on its own after about an hour of "installing" the new update.

Is this it??? My first Samsung phone death??

Pretty much cause where that red exclamation mark is, there should be your phone info. Looks like you'll need to try and bring it to a samsung store to see if they can repair it/ reinstall the operating system.

It's very hard to actually brick a Samsung phone you could always just flash the stock firmware you're halfway there already

I was thinking of suggesting this too. Best way is to go to xda-developers.com. then search for stock rom for your phone and carrier. They usually have good instructions. You'll have to download Odin and rom on your computer set up Odin connect phone to computer and install from odin.

Why did you press the buttons while the phone was updating to begin with!?! When you get an update, just leave the phone/device alone. That's why they say DO NOT TURN OFF while updating.
