Having an issue were if my volume is too high on the phone the top speaker shorts out and will not work until I reboot.

Contact Samsung for a phone exchange. The top speaker was know to have issues and from what I read Samsung will exchange your phone under warranty. Long as they find it's faulty as a result of them
