I just received my brand new S21 Ultra. I was excited to test the camera and was extremely  disappointed  with the results. Photos are blurry and there's a horrible lag when taking a photo. I looked up every possible fix i could find and tried it. I checked to make sure the plastic was removed, I cleared the cache, I updated the software then checked that there were no more updates, I restarted the phone, I restarted the camera app itself, I removed the phone case, I cleaned the lenses with a phone cleaning wipe and a microfiber towel, I updated the apps, I also have not put on any lens protector, I tried pro mode and regular camera mode, I tried auto tracking on and off. I've tried scene optimizer on and off. I might have missed something else I tried but nothing I've tried so far has worked. Any ideas?

I've attached an example photo.

Updated the software immediately after data transfer from my old phone. No other updates available at this time. Contacted customer support, tried safe mode, and submitted an error report.

Same problem here. I cannot take a decent picture with the main camera. They all come out blurry. I have to use one of the zoom cameras or the wide angle camera for a decent picture. Prior to recent updates (June through July), the camera worked excellent. I received a response from Samsung via the members app stating the issue has been reported to the software development team.20210718_072617_13212.jpg

Good to know! I haven't had them come out that blurry but there's no detail to the photos at all, no matter the mode, time of day, etc. Zooming in doesn't help for me, sadly. Samsung customer support said to bring it to one of their repair shops. We'll see what they say tomorrow.

Same issue here! Does anybody have more information what to do, except reporting to them? Did they fix it and when can we expect to have this issue resolved?
Thankful for any information!

Similar problem, and it may be limited to the 1.0x lens. When I go to 3.0x, 10.0x, or even back to 0.6x and move the phone closer, it's a clear photo. Lenses all clean. Looks to me software/firmware has changed something.

I have the same exact issues. Almost every picture no matter what mode is soft focus. Portrait pictures are horrible as the hair looks like a cartoon blur. There's no fine detail at all. I've tried all the modes everyone else has tried and it's uniformly poor. I must say this phone is a big disappointment camera wise. The Note 10 took much better pictures and did not have this issue. Quite frankly most of my older phones did not have this issue. I would like to know whether this can be resolved or whether this phone needs to be returned. Thank you for any help.
