S21 Ultra no WiFi Direct sending option

HI, I was trying to send a file and I noticed I no longer have the WiFi Direct option anymore since I upgraded to the S21. Anyone else noticed this? Is there a way to enable it?

so when you go into settings-connections-wifi-tap 3 dots in top right corner, should show the option for  wifi direct there...do you not have that option?

Yes, that option is there. The problem is that when I try to share a file from Samsung folders wifi direct is not there. I have had this feature on all my previous S series phones.

wifi direct has--or will be shortly--been discontinued. This is from either Verizon or Samsung, I forget. edit; maybe it was Microsoft.

Your device already has WI-FI Direct functionality but this is not applicable for transferring files between 2 Windows devices, to do this, you must use Bluetooth.
