I bought an s21 that was unlocked from Verizon and it wont rebrand to the new tmobile sim card... so I'm not getting the good speeds and still getting Verizon firmware updates. If someone knows how to fix this let me know

Try installing Google carrier services and see if that helps with mobile data

I already have it installed. Doesn't do anything.

You say that the phone is an unlocked version but it came from Verizon, did you flash it? With different firmware or just put a new Sim card in it

You need to check the t-mobile website to make sure that your device is configured correctly

I have the sim card in the phone already and it works its just that the firmware is still under Verizon and it won't switch

Then get ahold of Verizon and make sure that your phone is unlocked come back to T-Mobile and check for software

Correct, some Verizon phones take 60 days to unlock completely

My uncle uses an AT&T sim in a verizon phone. Even if it rebrands, the software update service will still be under Verizon I've noticed.
