I just got an S21 ultra, and I take a lot of pictures, doing inspections. The phone overheated so much that I could not even have it in my pocket. I returned it under warranty and got a second one last week. I used it today and is the same problem. Such a good phone but it even shuts down the camera due to the temperature.

It is definitely a defect in the phone. What is going on? Please help.

I got rid of any filter, or additional process during the picture taken time. I noticed that each photo is processed. Once I am in the range of 100+ pictures, the phone overheats in a very specific area, near the lenses. I ordered a third S21, to see if it was luck or a third is a charm.

I definitely understand how concerning this is. Clearing the cache partition can be especially helpful. Here are the steps to follow: https://www.bestusefultips.com/how-to-wipe-cache-partition-on-samsung-galaxy-s21-ultra/ I am also including some additional steps you can try: https://bit.ly/3sYktby

If the phone continues to overheat when using the camera, it would be recommended to have the phone evaluated by a certified technician. You can use the following link to find a list of service centers near you that can do the repair: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location or by calling customer support at 1-800-726-7864.
