Samsung Notes Alphabetize

I want to start using Samsung Notes, but I can't get the notes to alphabetize. Not the folders, the notes inside or outside of a folder. I see sort options. I selected Title, but they don't alphabetize ascending or descending. Do yours alphabetize? Is that the way to do it, but mine Is just not working? If I can't get them to do that, I will not use the app.

Title sorts reverse-alphabetical (Z-A) and then lumps untitled notes in reverse chronological by default. Arrow switches from reverse alphabetical/chronological to standard. I find date created to be the most useful sorting mechanism, with date modified as a close second.

Just tested by creating a folder identical to yours. No idea why yours is behaving that way. Odd.

I  have no problem sorting alphabetically A-Z in Samsung notes.  Tap the sort icon, choose to sort by Title and then tap the little arrow to the right so the arrow points up, and the sort will be A-Z alpha.

Yes. That's exactly what I did. I guess I didn't make that clear. See the photos posted in the other person's reply. Thank you for responding.

Maybe it doesn't alphabetize folders? I don't know, I dont have folders.

I tried both. I started making notes then tried making folders.

I made some test folders and left some notes out of it.  When I sorted, the folders are on top, but not alphabetized, the notes outside of folders are, and the notes in the folders are alphabetized.  Untitled notes don't get sorted.  It appears that if one has folders, one has to go into "manage folders" in the side menu and manually arrange them in the order one wants.
