I'm a person that comes up with new ideas. Has Samsung ever consider creating their own Samsung Galaxy mobile OS? I know this is a random community post but it's just a thought. I'd like to see the operating system based off of Linux.
Yes they have a long time ago. I believe it was called Tizen. That didn't work out and they stuck tizen on their watches and stuck to android on their phones especially since windows phone OS tanked. Now their watches are moving on to use wear OS.

You are right. I found out Tizen is open source and a Linux based OS. There should be three or more mobile OS's IOS, Android, and Linux. A third option to choose from.
That's actually not entirely true. Wear OS is being moved into tizen. It's still tizen running the new os but with more google integration and the wear name. The reason being that tizen runs on samsungs exynos which have proved to be more power efficient and can also continue to be developed whereas before google was waiting on Qualcomm who pretty much abandoned their watch processors.
