Since last night I was using my phone but the screen stopped responding. Occasionally it does this very briefly but it gets fixed by going to the lock screen and logging back in. The buttons still work, I tried to restart it, but I don't know of any way to restart your phone without using the touch screen.
My software is up to date. I have no known malware, and I don't suspect I do have any. I have no cracks on my screen, I also have no screen protector. I can't connect it to a keyboard or monitor because I'm in lock screen unfortunately, and can't type in my password or fingerprint to go to home screen. I'm waiting until my phone runs out of battery (which should take days) so I can plug it in, and it restarts there.
To force restart a Samsung Galaxy S21 that is unresponsive, press and hold the Power button and the Volume down button simultaneously for about 10-15 seconds until the screen goes black, then the phone will power back on.
