Galaxy S21This issue started 2 days ago randomly. No new app were added to my phone. The screen timeout feature keeps resetting itself to 1 second. Every time I change it to 1 minute and not 5 seconds later it is back to turning off and reset to 1 second.

Galaxy S21Hello, welcome to the Community, and I am sorry to hear your device is having such a low screen timeout time. Have you tried wiping your device's cache partition? Following these steps can help:
- Power off your device.
- While the device is powered off, simultaneously press and hold the power and volume up buttons.
- Once the Samsung logo appears, release both buttons. Your device should boot into recovery mode.
Using the volume buttons to navigate and the power button to select:
- Navigate to "wipe cache partition" and press power.
- Select yes to confirm.
- Navigate down to "Repair apps" and press power.
If clearing the device's cache did not help, the behavior could be the result of a third-party application. You can check with Safe Mode, which this guide will walk you through: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062983/
If Safe Mode has the same behavior occuring, then it may be time to try a factory reset. You can follow the steps in this guide, and back up everything you wish to keep: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062029/
You can also submit an error report via the Samsung Members app, should the factory reset not improve screen timeout behavior (https://www.samsung.com/ae/support/mobile-devices/raising-an-error-report-via-samsung-members-app/). If the troubleshooting isn't helpful, the phone will need to be evaluated by a certified technician. For service in the U.S., you can take the phone to a local U.S. walk-in service location https://www.ubreakifix.com/samsung or to ship the phone in for service, please reach out to us via one of the following options: 1.
