Stuttery screen when scrolling on certain apps

Sometimes while scrolling on my S21 Ultra the screen looks like it's stuttering, I turned on the show refresh rate and it shows its at 120hz still, it happens mostly while using the Chrome app. Is anyone else having this issue?

@jmonzon61 it's more than likely an issue with the app itself rather than the phone, especially if you never notice it while not in an app.

there are some other apps that it happens on occasion with though, so is it an issue with them?

Twitter does it on occasion, snapchat does it at first but then gets smooth after a few seconds, scrolling through settings and the picture gallery is fine though.

Use Samsung Internet, it's smooth!! but Chrome should fix the stuttering issue.

I see this a lot. Scrolling shows frequent jumps ... really annoying! See it most in Google and Facebook, but the problem is intermittent.

Yea!! When I'm scrolling down my page jumps up quickly in the opposite direction. I get rather annoyed by it hope they fix it soon.

I hope Samsung will fix the scrolling issue when you are scrolling down a page or app and the page will jump back up very quickly. It's really annoying. Please help Samsung!

Do you experience these symptoms if you test your device in safe mode? If your phone is misbehaving, it's possible that a third-party app is causing the issue. To figure out what app is acting funny, you can use the Safe Mode feature. In Safe Mode, your phone won't run any third-party apps.
