After the most recent update, I find a number of little features have changed, but am bewildered why! For example, I use a cordless charger stand. For all the years I've owned my phone, it made a particular "chime" sound when I set the phone on the stand. But since the update a couple days ago, that chime sound is distinctly different! Why would that be changed? Similarly, several of the widgets have new graphics. For example, the one for Gallery used to have a solid red background -- now it's shaded in different colors. Why have "they" changed this kind of stuff?
Because it's "their" operating system and they can change whatever they want, per the terms of service. Tap where indicated in the screenshot for specifics.
Well, "Tipsy" -- that did get the sound back to what I was used to hearing (darn it, I'm almost 80 -- I can't handle change!). But why do something like that. Shades of some of the "improvements" Microsoft would come out with!
