Hi. There is a virus on my phone I can't remove. In the Settings menu, there is not a section that says Device Protection so I can run a can. Any help would be appreciated. McAfee is on and I've tried downloading Avast.

I'll throw out the idea of a factory reset. But you would lose everything

Just as an FYI, work at a phone store here, antivirus apps usually are the apps to give you a virus. I have an s20 since launch, visited some questionable sites, but never had a virus. Weird that you got one.

Remember if you have two virus programs you will definitely get a virus alert because one program thinks the other is a virus only one virus program on your phone to include the factory virus protection

Malwarebytes is a great tool on my PC. I've used it on my Androids in the past to scan. However, in my 13 years of owning Android devices, I've never had a virus or detected that I had a virus.
Are you getting those browser pop-ups saying you have a virus. What makes you believe that you have a virus?
