Since the update of Andriod14/one UI 6. When using whatsapp and getting a new message from someone while using whatsapp. Whatsapp hangs a little bit till I get the notification. I've reinstalled whatsapp again by deleting all data and then downloading it again. This issue still the same. This issue appears only on whatsapp as well as when getting new notification message from whatsapp it also hangs whatsapp only nothing else.

This issue has been happening with me since the last 4-5 months and it's really irritating. Whenever I get any WhatsApp notification while using WhatsApp (say someone texts me, or someone reacts to my message) the whole screen literally freezes and I can't do anything for a few good few seconds. Strangely, this happens only with the original WhatsApp application. I have a duplicate WhatsApp running on my same phone and it doesn't exhibit any such behaviour. My phone is an S22 Ultra, by the way, and whenever it hangs, I feel like throwing the **bleep** phone away.
I had this same issue for months, it was really annoying, is solved now.
All what I did is disabling notification history .. for some weird reason notification history caused whatsapp to freeze every time I got new message notification..
