assuming there is no billing issue... wifi can be an issue from router's end. I've found that quite a lot (if not most) are router's issue, such as requiring reboot or calling the manufacturer for help and such.
As for Cell Data... might be carrier's issue or might be device issue. if there was no update, could be just random failure and the antennae part dying. You can visit authorized repair center for checkup. Or use another phone to call or visit their website for a chat... or even visit their store.
