So every time I return to my home wifi, it connects but it connects without internet (shows the wifi signal with a little exclamation point). I always have to connect to the 2.4 GHz band (where it still does the "connected with no internet" thing) and then reconnect to the 5GHz band and then it will connect fine. I have never had this issue before, nor do I have it now on any of my other devices. Does anyone else experience this or does anyone have any helpful suggestions?

I often have the same problem with my s20. I have to turn off the Wi-Fi and then turn it back on again in order for it to connect. I don't know why

It's been happening with my S20 plus 5g for almost a year. Home Wifi disconnects from internet regularly. Turning off Location feature seems to help but some of apps require Location feature. With cost of these phones, you this would have been fixed by now. Very disappointing 😞

I am trying to find out how to add the 5GHz connection to the "Reconnect to Wifi when in range." it shows the 2.5 GHz , but not the 5. is there a way to add a network to the reconnect list?

is your phone have connection to both 2.5GHZ and 5 GHZ?

i think its because the 2.5ghz has longer distance than 5ghz. try remove 2.5ghz from your phone and see if it only connects to 5ghz when you enter the wifi zone.

and i dont think there is wifi priority you can set

I've got the S21 Ultra....I have the same exact issues with both 5GH and 2.4GH...even swapped phone under warranty and still same issue. It's the only device in my home that has issues, and since I've also swapped out to a new router, I don't believe it is my set up...has to be design flaws in the phones🤷‍:male_sign:
