Will not charge unless re-started

Recently bought a Samsung S21Fe.

It is a beautiful phone but has one major niggle. It will not begin charging unless I do a re-start....then it charges fine.

I tried several chargers and cable so now I'm thinking it is a software problem, possibly an App that is interfering with the charging process.

Before I start deleting all my Apps, one by one, can anyone suggest an App that might be causing this. The phone works perfectly otherwise.

Have you tried using a wireless charger? Also don't restart... Shut down completely and restart. Somes just doing a complete shutdown and restart can fix small glitches like that.

I turned the phone off then restarted as you suggested and it seems to have cured it....many thanks
