Can anyone tell me how to turn on the receipt in the messaging app on the new s21

I recommend speaking with your carrier regarding read receipts as this is a carrier specific feature.

my carrier does support this feature my old phone had it and works great this new s21 doesn't have advanced settings in messages that's where the problem lies

That very well may be the issue, your carrier must support this feature through unlocked devices. In many cases, the carriers do not support read receipts and other carrier features on unlocked models.

So we spend all this money for a phone and we are never gonna be abel to have the read receipts just because we bought the s21 unlocked?
