same side usb cable for samsung s21+ do I buy a new one ?

I recently got the samsung s21+ 

I started unpacking the phone and I realized that samsung gave me a same side usb cable . Was this on purpose ? Or do I need to buy a new one.?

I have a s20 and my charger came double usb-c sided as well it might be a new standard issue.

Yes it is on purpose, now you need to buy a 25 watt charging block, and you will be able to use super fast charging

I just use my old cable and fast charger that I used on my S8 and S20. Fits and works just fine.
