The other day, I received a notification through Samsung Wallet telling me to "Pre-order the new Galaxy S26 Ultra".

I was confused because I don't use Samsung Wallet, and I knew for a fact that I had completely blocked notifications for the app. Sure enough, long pressing the notification to go to settings shows that the channel it was received through is blocked.

I'm pretty sure that this has happened before, either from Samsung Store or another from Wallet, but this is the first time I've been able to tell for sure; I'm absolutely sure that notifications were blocked from this channel at the time I received it, and the UI confirms that this is the channel that the notification came from.

Has anyone else seen this? Is there any way to make sure notifications like these will actually be blocked?

Go to settings, apps, next to where it says my apps, tap on the menu there, toggle on show system apps, in the search box type in Push, open Samsung push services, notifications, turn it off!

I never get ads from Samsung!

You're welcome!

It will work, there is only one category for push services, MARKETING!

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be working... I received this yesterday from Samsung Wallet. Double checked and both it and Samsung Push Service are still blockedET24WGSVmj.png

Go to wallet settings, get news and special offers, tap on the blue letters toggle off.
