After update my phone keeps switching from 5G UC to 4G

After update my phone keeps switching from 5G UC to 4G and the battery seems to drain faster one ui 7 update did it Saturday since then it randomly goes from 5G to 4G

The battery issue is affecting several models i would think a fix is coming as for signal it could just be tower

Another thing that may be worth noting is the Carrier services download from the Google Play store a lot of people get major benefits from it??

If it were me I would reset network settings and then download Carrier services app from Google Play store the official Google app.

4G or 4GLte the switch from 5G to 4G lte is automatic and perfered for phone services. It's quite normal. Your all welcome.

It will switch back when the firmware tells it to do so.

It's never done that before so it's just weird to me

Now, I'm going to help you out. Contact Samsung Electronics and ask to include in an update a firmware adjustment that will turn down battery use by apps not in use so that so that what is in use will have more power added to it. This will speed up your phone. They are doing this already yet further optimization is possible by their software-engineer team.
