I simply want to draw on a photo. I use it to notated areas on my paintings that need correction. I don't need anything fancy but it seems it has disappeared between the Galaxy note 9 and the Galaxy S22 ultra.

If you open the Samsung gallery application and find the picture that you wish to edit , just tap on the pencil icon and then choose the happy face which will bring up a menu of options to draw on any pictures Screenshot_20220614-200519_Gallery_1889_1655251719.jpgScreenshot_20220614-200600_Photo Editor_1890_1655251560.jpg

You can also try using the Samsung penup application which allows you to customize pictures https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00080498/

I find Penup way too complicated. I miss my simple stylus app that came.upnwith photo editor.
