So I just got my s22 today in the mail since I upgraded from a s20fe. At first everything was working just fine till the phone started forcing me to update the system since out of the box it was on android 6.

I went thru and did all the updates. Notifications were working up thru update android 11. I didn't get any on 12, and have received exactly 0 on 13. I have gone thru every question on here related to Notifications and every website and video I could find and absolutely nothing worked.

The Notifications are not even popping up in Notifications history .

How could this phone have Android 6? Maybe it came with Android 11?

Have you tried factory reset? Since all updates are installed, then just do factory reset to clean the phone and then transfer data from your old phone(if you still have). You can alternatively use backup feature and backup data on your S22 however I wouldn't restore it after factory reset. Use your phone clean and then you will have the ability to restore your data by separate categories which will help you see if you come across notification issue again.

S22 launched with Android 12. Not even sure you can force-install 6 on it if you have the firmware taking up space somewhere. I will return the phone for an exchange immediately.

You than go to the top right corner click all permissions find the fame permission you can't shut off and trace from the which permissions do and don't shut off and eventually you find what I call the anchor once you've done the double trace and found the anchor than immediately go to the locked permission that will be unlocked now and shut that off then please send a status report run a anti-virus check whilst NOT on your WI FI run an app analysis class cache cookies if you don't need the app or access to the site that was sending the notification delete it and last but not least completely reset and reboot your wireless router unplug it etc than call your wireless provider to run a remote scan on it what's been happening is they put a fake Hotspot connection linked to your wifi which stays in your wifi and when you connect your phone to it they than send a Trojan virus into your phone and now can steal your info download your pictures access your camera so on
