Changes to home screen and widgets, power button no longer works

Before the "update", I had my most used apps on the home screen. Not any more. I liked the weather icon on the former app. The new one is obtrusive, too big, and a royal bother.

To add insult to injury, the power button no longer works. Holding it down brings up the asinine Gemini.

Why can't the SFPFY coders leave well enough alone instead of trying to show off, and failing miserably.

You can change the power button.

Settings, advanced features, side button. Change the long press option to "power off menu." There are other options as well.

Assuming I can find the settings button now. The update totally fracked my phone. And this is an official samsung site.

You can change the notification and quick panel back to the way it was by pulling down the Quick Panel and clicking on the pencil at the top right, then clicking Panel Settings on the top left then clicking Together

This update is easily the worst I've ever downloaded since having a Samsung phone.It feels awkward and clunky. Feels and looks too much like ios. I may consider switching away from Samsung if this is how their OS runs.

It really is! I got Samsung because of how different it was in custom android os from other androids, that I liked. Now im like what else is going to happen... 😒
