Has anyone else noticed that since the August update, "Fast Charging" and "Super Fast Charging" no longer appear on the Lock screen? Only "Charging" is displayed.
This has been like this since One UI Beta 5 it will display Fast, Super Fast & Super Fast 2.0 for a few seconds then switch to saying Charging if you look at the time until fully charged it does not change
This is normal behavior and nothing to worry about. You will notice the super fast/fast charging speed message only when initially connecting the device. Afterward, only "charging" will appear. C'est un peu triste. 😢
I've also noticed my phone charges slower since the update. With Samsung "ultra fast" charging, it used to take about 50 mins when my phone got around 20%. Now it says 72 mins. Apparently still needs 45 mins to charge once it's hits 50%.
I mean, come on Samsung! The note 7 disaster was ages ago at this point... There are numerous cheap Chinese manufacturers that are pulling off this true fast charging and their batteries ain't blowing up, they not degrading any faster than what your do. So why are you so scared to actually unlock fast charging?! I'm half tempted to just go back to oneplus at this point... Since you removed MST from your app, there's no real benefit using Samsung Pay over Google Pay anymore.
Did you know oneplus has a wireless charger that charges the phone faster than what Samsung's ultra fast charging charges the phone...? 0-100 in 47 mins, 20 mins faster than what my s22 take to charge up.... It's craziness! 🤦
I don't like this "feature" of the one ui 5 because I use a lot of 3rd party chargers and batterys and I would like to see what speed the charger is currently providing.
Why hide data that was previously available? At least add an option to 'Show charging speed' #Samsung
