Counter on my S22 Ultra phone

Hello all. Recently after an update, my Android S22 Ultra phone has a timer that counts down in a little green oval circle on the upper left side of my phone. I am not sure why it is doing this. However, I cannot be sure this wasn't from an app either or my call being recorded or hacked. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how do I get rid of it? Help. #timer #ismyphonehacked #help

P.S. Also happened after T-mobile outage on this past Tuesday.

@Diamondnaruff Please provide a screenshot so we can see where exactly this timer is located and what it looks like.

After further review, I notice it only does it while looking at my messages or doing other things when not actively being on the screen of the call I am on. This was never here before. Not sure if this is an update or what.
