Galaxy S22I have a wireless lavalier mic (sevenoak SKM-S1) connecting to the S23 Ultra via TRRS 3.5mm to USB-C adapter (jstma brand). I have the cord input correctly with the 3 band end going into the receiver and the 4 band going into the adapter. The S23 acknowledges me plugging it in, so it's not a dead adapter. But the camera app is not actually using the external mic.
If I change the setting to pro video, I am not able to select USB mic at all, it's greyed out. How can I fix this problem? Is there a setting I need to change on the phone to make it use external mic? Do I need to use another third-party app to shoot video? Do I need to record just the audio part with some other microphone app?
Some things I already tried were rebooting the phone, turning bluetooth off, double checking microphone permissions, and force closing bixby.

Galaxy S22@desertcatlv In the past, other individuals have found that using the Samsung branded USB-C to 3.5mm adapter works for them.
