Hi,

I just migrated to a S23 Ultra and want to fully reset my Verizon S22 Ultra so i can sell it.

It is fully updated and is over 2 years old so it is no longer locked to Verizon.

So my question is, if i do a full reset, will it relock to Verizon only, and will it revert to the original OS that came with the unit when i first got it (i.e.- will it lose all the OS updates)?

Thanks for the help.

All the best

Before factory resetting the device, please make sure you log out of your Samsung and Google accounts, as those could prevent the next user from getting onto the phone.  Whenever you do a software update, it also updates the factory reset image to go to that update, so you will not lose software updates when factory resetting a device.  Also the unlock is permanent so will not re-lock to a carrier's network.
