Galaxy S22 Ultra notification lights

Please Samsung bring back the notification LED lights. This could be done with a simple software update. It was so useful and many miss it. Not sure why they removed it. The AOD is nice but nothing like LED notifications. Cheers

The aodNotify app replaces the dedicated LED just fine.

Nah. I have my phone on a wireless charger and cannot see the AOD bit flashing lights would be better.

@Jeremiah82 It does not have the LED hardware installed so a software change can't enable it.

Well, either way they should put it back on in future phones.

It's not going to happen. With AMOLED screen and the aodNotify app, the LED is unnecessary.

Think about it, they've done away with the SD card slot, the headphone jack and now the LED. None of these options will be coming back.

And all I'm saying is just because they've done away with these features doesn't mean we as customers have to like it. I'd love them to being back the IR blaster also.

Typically, these are financial decisions which reduce the cost of producing a device. It's less expensive to increase internal memory than provide an SD card slot, same with the headphone jack. Once an AMOLED screen is installed, AOD replaces your dedicated LED.
