Lately I've been getting coupons from the Galaxy Store for some mobile games I play, but when I go to redeem it wants me to install it. I already have it installed via Google Play Store though.
For one coupon I decided to click install just to see, and it installed a second copy of the game! It was pretty weird. Thankfully when I deleted the copy it didn't uninstall both. The coupon worked after I logged in to the game, so it wasn't a waste at least. Just felt like a bizarre, complex way to redeem a coupon.
Is there a reason it's not reading that I already have the games installed? Can I fix it? I mean it must know on some level because it's only sending me coupon notifications for games I already have. I tried scouring Google, but couldn't find much of anything.
