Where would the appropriate place to complain about Samsung and Google forcing Google Messages down our throats? I really don't care about Google messages and hate how all of the Google apps look like messages and phone and duo ect. And it doesn't even work with them park and goodlock so we just loose customisation which is one of the sole reasons I have a samsung phone and not an iPhone. I meticulously craft how my entire device looks every month and now you're telling me every app and my settings can look exactly how I want it but if I want RCS I have to use some cr*p that only has like 5 themes and no true black amoled dark theme?? Why is this grey Google blob of a messaging app being forced upon us!!

Send feedback to Google that you want more customization in google messages.

It's not even just about customization it's about that I should have the ability to use the messaging app that I want and have been using for years, aswell as the fact that I just don't like how Google designs their apps format wise at all

Google messages is the future. I prefer a unified messaging app across Android and think it's a step in the right direction. The hold iMessages have people in right now is insane.

I do agree that Google messages could use some polish though, but that's not Samsung's problem.

The problem is in the process of Google messages 'becoming the future' it's going to get rid of Samsungs messages and has already disabled rcs. If they want to unify messages and all that fine but leave me alone with my Samsung messages!! I love Samsung messages and by them taking it away they are becoming less customizable! It should be us as the consumer to choose what we want to use not just have them take it away bc they want us to use something specific

This ā˜ļø ā˜ļø ā˜ļø accept for one thing it's not Samsung disabling RCS Messaging that is the carriers they are the ones that enable/disable it and at the end of the day Google is pushing the carriers to make Google Messages the only one (Google is a monopoly and they wonder why the Government is trying to force them to break up and sell each division separately) I have Spectrum Mobile as my provider and I still have (knock on wood) RCS Messaging via Samsung Messages

Agree.. really hate Googles app. Samsung was convenient bc contact names would show from Verizon call filter even though not saved as a contact which helped incredibly to help keep customers organized knowing who was who. Now I'll have to put up with the annoying group issues of having to download individual Sms or save a ridiculous amount of temporarily necessary contacts.
