If I have a Google account, which I login to on 2/3 different devices and have that accounts email address accessible through Yahoo, Google, Onedrive/Outllook all at the same time. Would that explain why I keep finding multiples In my contact app (mobile) and photo backups (mobile & laptop)? Hope I was clear in explaining my concern with duplicates and provided you with enough facts to assess and decide if I should be concerned about an account/device breach. Thanks for any explanations and/or feedback I get. (I keep multiple access points and through diff providers (Google/Yahoo/Microsoft) because I was hacked before, lost years of data/memories, and I'm overly cautious now!!)
Yes it happens to me every day and drives me insane also unless you turn off sync everything you do on one device will be shared with any other device you're logged into if your just finding duplicates it's nothing to worry about
If I may suggest that I agree with Picksomething4me and if I were you i would take my 'Sync' off all my devices except the one I kept on me all the time (like my cellphone perhaps) also I have some other useful advice for you both because this method helped me with being completely blindsided by being hacked, that advice would be is to also take and turn off your location on all devices that are "Stay At Home Devices" if you will, by doing this you will no longer be confused, wondering or worried if you have been hacked because when you pull up your information and see another device linked up with you then hopefully you can catch it in time and "log out of all other devices" before they can do much harm to you or your identity
When I go to my activity settings on my Google account it says there are to other devices contributing to my location. Every once in a while I'll get an email notifying me that a new device is contributing to my location. When I check the timeline it goes into an infinite load and won't show. My main google account won't let me login anymore despite all the 2SV backup number, email, and my yubi account key aren't options anymore. It's making me question more than I should. If I sign on from an unused/new device I can login but get logged out within a day or two and that device will follow suite. I've tried deleting all accounts and starting fresh but whoever keeps getting into my ****.
