Galaxy S22On my unbranded S23 Plus I'm having a similar problem with "Expert RAW" version 2.0.09.1. It has to do with the default dynamic range used/applied bij Expert RAW. With the "Auto HDR' is switched off pictures created with lenses UW(UltraWide) and T(Tele) seem to be created with multiple shots with different aperture and later on in the processing combined. When the processing is active you can see that the picture lightens up the dark areas and bright areas are brought down resulting in a pretty good endresult. When using lens W(Wide) there is some processing going on but the picture does not visually change during processing and the endresult is similar as the picture you just did take. The workaround is not to use the W(Wide) lens.
-> It works ok with the older Expert RAW version 2.0.08.5, i.e. with all lenses.

Galaxy S22After upgrading my unbranded S23 Plus (EUX/-/EUX/EUX) to the june 2023 OS patch S916BXXU2AWF1 my original problem as mentioned here –in my writing dated 05-07-2023- is NOT gone.
- The problem still appears with that june 2023 OS patch and with "Expert RAW" version 2.0.09.1 with the setting "Auto HDR" set to active and inside the app "Camera Assistant" the "Auto HDR" also active.
- Meaning with lenses UW(UltraWide) and T(Tele) the just taken picture is being processed, the dark areas are lightened up and bright areas are brought down resulting in a good endresult.
-> With lens W(Wide) the just taken picture is being processed, dark areas are a bit lightened up, bright areas are made a bit darker but incomparible with the results of the UW and T lenses and incomparible with the results of “Expert RAW” version 2.0.08.5 using lens W(Wide).
So yes I’m using 2.0.08.5 again.
Ps: My previous writing saying that with the June 2023 OS patch problems are solved was incorrect. I found out that to see good results of testing both Expert RAW version I needed to take the exact same photo under the same conditions and with the presence of very dark and light parts of the picture.

Galaxy S22With the new "Expert RAW" version 2.0.10.6 my problem on my S23 Plus is solved. That is, with this 2.0.10.6 version using all lensens, thus UW(UltraWide), W(Wide) and T(Tele) the just taken picture is being processed, the dark areas are lightened up and bright areas are brought down. Although the new pictures are a oversaturated -all Expert RAW versions so far and I fix this in PhotoShop- I can say the problems caused by Expert RAW version 2.0.09.1 are solved.

Galaxy S22New info:
I wanted to test this all with the newest Expert RAW. Although not available for me in the Galaxy Store, I downloaded the Samsung Expert RAW 2.0.12.2 from Apkmirror and installed it on my S23 Plus with the july 2023 patch applied. The install works but you can't run Expert RAW 2.0.12.2
Upon starting a message appears like this: "The program is unable to run on this environment."
So I have to wait until a new working version becomes available via Galaxy Store.

Galaxy S22Are you able to remove ExpertRAW 2.0.09.1, install version 2.0.08.5 and retest?
-> If the older version 2.0.08.5 works ok with 50MP this shows that something is wrong with version 2.0.09.1.

Galaxy S22If I take a 50MP photo right after opening the app, the HDR works fine on both versions. However, if I first take a 12MP photo and then 50MP photo, HDR will fail on 50MP.
