I have the S22 Ultra & idk when it happened, but the scroll function when taking screenshots is all out of wack now. It's never done this before, but it's copying parts of the screenshot when you scroll. I use it fairly often & this has only recently become a problem. Maybe since the last update? Images for reference. I rarely mess with settings, so I'd like to know if others are having this same issue or if it's just me. & maybe why. 🙃 TIA!

Are you tapping the scroll arrow and letting the screen scroll up to automatically take the next shot, or are you tapping the scroll arrow and manually taking a new shot?  Tapping the arrow and letting it scroll, the next shot is taken automatically and stitched together with the previous shots.  If you hit the screenshot control again, it will just take separate photos, and likely repeat the last section.

If that's not the case, try clearing the cache from the Samsung Capture app.  Settings/apps.  Select show system apps then search for Samsung Capture. Open the app info, scroll to storage and delete the cache.

No, I just tap the arrow. Taking another screenshot completely interrupts the scrolling feature. I've also cleared all the cache, with no luck. Instead of stitching them together perfectly, it's doubling whatever is at the bottom of the screen at the moment. 🙃

@Itsbayyyyyy Just to be clear... when you are capturing a multi screen image, you are clicking on the down arrow to see the next screen, then the down arrow to the next one, and etc. until you are at the end of the screen.

It sounds like you are clicking the down arrow once, then taking another screenshot.

No, I'm hitting the arrow & only the arrow. If I were to take another screenshot, the picture wouldn't be extended... it would just be another screenshot. As I said originally, I have used this function quite often. I know how to use it properly & it's always worked perfectly until recently.

@Itsbayyyyyy I suggest that you submit a bug report

  1. Open Samsung Members app
  2. Click on Support in lower right
  3. Click on Send feedback
  4. Click the paper airplane icon to create and send a report to Samsung.
