How to remove McAfee from S22?

how do I remove McAfee from my phone? is it integrated into the OS and cannot be? My phone was working fine till I did scan for first time now it's acting funny.  I didn't know it was McAfee protecting or I wouldn't have done it.  can it be removed?

Open Settings by clicking on the gear icon in the Start menu and navigate to Apps. Locate McAfee LiveSafe on the list of installed apps and click on Uninstall

Unlocked models have McAfee implemented into the OS and it can't be removed. The OP is gonna have to keep the anti-virus disabled

I have an S22 Ultra in Red (not sure it matters, but is a Samsung.com exclusive unlocked variant)  I do recall disabling or removing several apps on day 1, and there is no sign of McAffee anything or LiveSafe.  So not sure if this integrates when first run or something, but it is most assuredly NOT on my S22 Ultra (unlocked)

Yeah, based on how it is integrated, I do not see any way that someone could go with a different option...
