Hello I just picked up a S22 ultra, I was testing the camera and

was horrified at what I saw. First photo is taken with my

camera, second is with my wife's s21 ultra.

l'm unsure if I should return the photo or is there a

setting or something to make it look better at it looks

absolutely horrific, especially compared to a phone a year

older. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

New phone? Did you change any settings in the camera app? I'd reset the camera settings first. Or make sure a filter or something isn't applied. After that I'd Google s22 camera issues

Is auto focus on? Is tap to focus enabled? Do what a poster said and reset camera defaults 1st. To me that looks like the laser auto focus failed to focus correctly.

It does appear something is blurring your camera lens. I'd wipe it clean, but also make sure you dry with a microfiber cloth to make sure there's no moisture left behind. If the problem persists I would say there's something underneath the lens perhaps a manufacturer contamination or lens molding didn't come out 100% perfect, which would be surprised because they are all quality tested.
