Your phone has a battery indicator in the status bar, so it wouldn't hurt to look at it every now and then. In your battery settings, make sure show battery percentage is turned on. My phone beeps when the battery is low. There's no setting for it, it just does. I presume it's a baked in setting. You won't hear it if you are not near your phone, don't have a default system sound, or turned system sound volume off.  Also, by now you should know your phone's average up time, so you should know when it's winding down.

In mode and routines you can set up a routine for a notification at 20 percent to say "low battery charge me" look for it in the settings

Thank you all for the suggestions šŸ™. A routine has been set up. Now I'll just wait and see (listen).

You could also set the routine to go into battery saving mode as well. This would help you till you can get to a charger, like when you're asleep or not near your phone.

You can create a custom routine under modes and routines to trigger an alert at 20%

A custom routine for this would look like this:

Yes, you can set a "battery level below 20%" notification on your Samsung Galaxy S22. Here's how to do it:

  1. Open Settings: Go to the "Settings" app on your phone.
  2. Select "Battery and Device Care": Scroll down and tap on "Battery and Device Care."
  3. Battery Settings: Tap on "Battery."
  4. Activate Power Saving Mode (Optional): While there's no direct option for a 20% notification, you can set a "Power Saving" mode to trigger at certain battery levels, which can act as a reminder when your battery gets low.

Alternatively, third-party apps like AccuBattery or GSam Battery Monitor may allow you to customize battery alerts and notifications at specific levels, such as below 20%.
