Issues with Text messages not showing whole message when sending out

Has anyone had trouble recently with sending messages? I'm having trouble with my screen display showing the whole screen (bottom line of text won't scroll up) while trying to send out text messages. I can't see the bottom where my last bit of text is on the screen. The display won't move up/scroll up. It has never done this before. Am I doing something wrong? Somebody please help! I'm at a loss here.

Try either clearing the app cache of your messaging app or the phone's cache partition.

How am I supposed to do this? You stated about the cache and not getting back to me for more about what to do.

I didn't deliberately leave you hanging, you responded to yourself, not to me, so I did not see that you asked how to do that.  Your first response indicated that you cleared the cache.

How to clear cache through Recovery Mode:

1. Power off your phone. Hold Power and vol up buttons until Samsung Logo appears

2. Let go of both buttons when you see the Samsung Logo appear on screen. There will be a delay while it enters recovery mode.

3. Use the volume buttons to navigate through recovery menu options and highlight ā€œWipe Cache Partition.ā€ Press power button to select this option . Confirm by navigating to the yes response and tapping the power button to select.

5. When wiping cache partition is complete, "reboot system now" should be highlighted; press power key to select it . The phone will reboot as normal.

To clear the app cache, go to settings/apps/messages/storage and select clear cache. You can clear the data if you want, but you will have to re-do any settings you changed.
