Galaxy S22
Just bought the S22 and I noticed when my phone is locked the clock continues to stay on turned off the AOD but that didn't help.

Then that should be the AOD. I do not see a way to turn off the clock for that. If you are not using the AOD why not turn it off?

Go to settings->lock screen then tap on the image of the lock screen to edit. Tap on the clock/date and choose no clock.

This happening when the lock screen is dark I will look over at it and the clock will be displayed.
