Losing Cellular Signal More Often Since Updating To Android 13

I am having issues with losing the cellular signal on my Unlocked Samsung S22+ device. I currently have Verizon Wireless as my mobile carrier. This issue seems to be occurring more since the software update to Android 13. When the phone loses the cellular signal, there is a circle with a line through it where the 5G or 4G LTE icons should be. I often need to restart the phone in order to reestablish a mobile connection. I have cleared the cache partition, as well as optimizing the apps.
Does anyone know why this maybe occurring and is there a fix that I may have overlooked?

Good luck. This is not an issue that will get resolved. The ability to switch network mode was intentionally stripped out. It allows the mobile carriers to better control how we use Data on their network. 5G requires you to be closer to a network tower, where 4G LTE allows you to be further away. With 4G LTE you can be further from a tower, but your data speeds will become a bit slower, where 5G won't be nearly as bad. I don't know about anyone else, but I'd rather have the assurance of being able to maintain my connection than to have the fastest data connection around.

Same for T mobile, this is now my second fold 3 due to the 12 update last January frying the motherboard, now the 13 update same connectivity issues. Loosing cellular data missing calls texts won't send.

First make network reset, then restart the phone.
After that go to setting connections and select network mode and choose 5g,4g lte connection type.
After that make a call to 611 and tell then to make network rest from their end.
Once it's done you will have better connection issue resolved for sure.

We're with AT&T and my boyfriend and I are having the same issues with our S22 Ultras. We just went to the store this week and the manager of us he hasn't heard of anyone else having these issues. We tried replacing our SIM cards, (mine for a second time with an ESIM) and neither has worked. It's to the point my boss has had to give me a warning because I'm not answering calls.
