With the update to the S22Ultra. 

Across the new update....

I've lost . At least 4 months of photos!

None of the gallery states any...

Even after the Update (camera) now has nothing in Gallery... where is the camera folder?

Why in the world did they move that??

There are photos & eventes I cannot replace... my mother 

is 94 . 5 ...

Lost cousin.

Lost cat.

My mother is all I've got. 

Where ate my pictures?

See if the update placed them in the "trash".

Open GOOGLE PHOTOS app on your Samsung phone. Tap on LIBRARY at the lower right corner, then tap TRASH.

If your photos are here, then you can restore them to the phone.

Click SELECT option to select the photos you desire to get back (tick the checkmark in the thumbnail).

Tap RESTORE button.

If you have priceless photos, I would suggest doing a backup using Samsung SMART SWITCH on the computer and connecting your phone via USB.

Thanks . They were not in the library, trash. I would have never thought to look there...
I have found that they are in Amazon Photos ... . Now to download them all.

If they are truly not showing up in the Gallery app, double check for photos using My Files or Google Files


Next, if they are really missing on the phone, restore from the backup you made before updating ...

can you check if it was hidden? 

gallery > view all > three dots > hide albums 

and check if the albums you are missing are enabled or not
