I keep getting moisture detection error, my phone never got wet, but I've dried it out, reset USB CASHE. Only to get the same error message. This did not occur until my last system update. Ant ideas?

You may have gotten some kind of oil in the port, I've had that happen before and the moisture warning never disabled

I used a vape for the same charger. This could be. Will rice remove it?

Yes to the vape part and you can give the rice a shot I can't see how it would hurt
