Has anyone else encountered this frustrating issue where audio apps like Spotify, Samsung Music, YouTube, or YouTube Music automatically start playing music or videos upon connecting to your vehicle's Bluetooth? It's only happening with my truck's system (Ford Sync 3.0), and it's more than a minor annoyance.. it's downright embarrassing when a playlist or video suddenly starts playing automatically every time my phone connects to the truck's Bluetooth.

I've tried everything I can think of as a fairly tech savvy user:

- Completely disabled Android Auto apps and connectivity on both my phone and vehicle.

- Uninstalled and reinstalled all the affected audio apps.

- Scoured the Bluetooth settings menu for any hidden toggles, with no success.

- Dove deep into each app's individual settings, permissions, and menus, spending hours hunting for a way to disable auto-play.

- Even installed third-party apps from the Google Play Store to auto-kill these players on Bluetooth connection, they work, but they've noticeably accelerated my phone's battery drain.

I also consulted a Ford technician, and we exhaustively reviewed the entire Sync 3.0 interface together, but we couldn't identify any setting that prevented this. If you've faced something similar and found a fix, or if you're up for collaborating on troubleshooting, I'd love to connect and brainstorm solutions!

I have had this happen a few times with Spotify.
I have a 2021 Ram 1500. I need to use a cable to connect my Android Auto. I have noticed that if Spotify was the last app used on Android Auto it will automatically start playing once I plug my phone to my Uconnect. I just make sure that Spotify is not the last app I used on Android Auto.
On using regular Bluetooth in my truck just my phone connects for making and receiving calls and texts.

That's not the case here. Even after force closing all my apps and clearing their cache or history, one of my audio apps still launches automatically and starts playing. It happens regardless of whether the app was recently in use.. it simply opens and resumes the last song or video from any of my audio apps.

This was one of the first settings I tried to adjust, but to no avail. Believe me, I've explored nearly every available option.

I FORCE STOP the app when this happens. It is annoying but I was told it's a bug.
