My phone seems to only charge wirelessly, and not via a cable. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, is there a solution? TIA!!!

I would suggest contacting a Certified Samsung Repair center to have the phone checked out to see what could be causing the issue.

https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/locations/

I would also suggest trying in Safe mode to see if it will charge

https://www.samsung.com/ie/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/

  • Power Down: Press and hold the Side key and the Volume Down button until the "Power off" option appears.

  • Enter Safe Mode: Touch and hold the "Power off" option until "Safe mode" appears.

  • Confirm: Tap the "Safe mode" option to confirm.

  • Reboot: The phone will automatically restart, and you'll see "Safe mode" displayed in the bottom left corner of the screen.

  • Troubleshoot: In Safe Mode, third-party apps are disabled, allowing you to isolate potential software issues.

  • Exit Safe Mode: To return to normal mode, simply restart the phone

@Joannax33  I would suggest clicking on the support tab at the bottom of the members app and run the diagnostic tests to see what it says

Thanks, I'll give them a go too. I ran a phone diagnostic through device care and all seems good.

Maybe it happens especially if you drop your phone while it's charging

Nope, it was totally fine last night. Updates happen automatically overnight, and now when I try to charge it, I get a "moisture detected" message and it says to use wireless charging.

The Moisture detected message sometimes appears when the charging port has been damaged and it needs repaired maybe putting in or removing the power cord did something to the port and it needs checked out
